All within walking distance from the apartment. Among the most notable events held in San Benedetto del Tronto throughout the year: the L'Antico e le Palme antiques fair, which draws Italian and international antique dealers and collectors, and the Festa della Madonna della Marina, held on the last Sunday of July with a procession of fishing boats out at sea.

The villages

The most beautiful villages near the Riviera delle Palme

Rocca of Acquaviva Picena
Acquaviva Picena

A splendid medieval village about 10 km from San Benedetto del Tronto, famous for its majestic Rocca, a masterpiece of Renaissance military architecture, and for the traditional craft of pugarelle, the typical wheat-straw baskets. In August you can watch the historical re-enactment Sponsalia, the wedding between Forasteria degli Acquaviva and Rinaldo dei Brunforte, with medieval banquets, costume parades and flag-waving performances.

Offida
Offida

An ancient village enclosed by 15th-century castle walls, listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy. Set on a rocky spur between the Tesino and Tronto valleys, it is known for the painstaking, age-old art of delicate bobbin lace, to which one of the town's main museums is dedicated. Among the most notable events held in Offida throughout the year: the historic Offida Carnival (January-February), the Offida Opera Festival (September), Di Vino in Vino (September), CiBorghi, a food festival of Italy's most beautiful villages, and the Mangialonga Picena, eleven and a half kilometres of good food, local produce and good wine along two routes through the Marche countryside.

Ripatransone
Ripatransone

Perched on a hill between the valleys of the Menocchia stream and the Tesino river, it enjoys a panoramic setting so beautiful it has earned the title Belvedere del Piceno. Its best-known attraction is the narrowest alley in Italy, only 43 cm wide. The area produces extra virgin olive oil and DOC wines. The most important events held during the year are the Cavallo di Fuoco, a historical re-enactment held every year on the Sunday after Easter, and the Festa della Maddalena, the town's patron saint feast, held in July with religious and civic events.

Ascoli Piceno
Ascoli Piceno

Its historic centre is built almost entirely of travertine and is among the most admired in the region and in central Italy for its artistic and architectural wealth. It preserves numerous noble and bell towers, earning it the name City of a Hundred Towers. The city's heart is the Renaissance Piazza del Popolo, home to important buildings such as the 13th-century Palazzo dei Capitani del Popolo and the historic Art Nouveau Caffè Meletti. Another elegant urban space is Piazza Arringo, the oldest square in Ascoli. The dishes that best represent the local cuisine are, above all, the DOP oliva all'ascolana and the fritto all'ascolana. The most notable events held in Ascoli Piceno during the year are the Carnival of Ascoli Piceno (February-March), Fritto Misto all'Italiana (April-May), the Antiques Market (every third Sunday of the month) and the Quintana Jousting Tournament (August).

Reviews

What our guests say

Chiara is a very kind and incredibly helpful host! She accommodated specific requests we had for our 7-month-old son. The apartment was spotless and fully equipped, and the location was extremely central! Thanks again to Chiara.

Simona, Forlì

Chiara is a very friendly and welcoming host; the house is new, spotless and it has every amenity. It is very close to the pedestrian area and thus to shops and restaurants, at the same time situated on a quiet street. Highly recommended.

Valerio, Buscate

This is one of our favorite places to stay in San Benedetto. The apartment occupies a single level of a house that is rustic and charming outside, yet completely modern and recently renovated inside. Everything was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and fully equipped with all the essentials. It is located in a quiet, authentic neighborhood just a short walk from the town center. As a family with a child, we appreciated the spaciousness, comfortable beds, large closets, and full laundry facilities. Chiara and her husband were incredibly kind; they welcomed us in person, helped with our luggage and even left a welcome gift. Their thoughtful touches and local recommendations made us feel more like guests than visitors. There is a special sense of ease and comfort here that made us feel right at home. We would love to come back!
